Starting to seriously look into acupuncture

Just thinking about going on clomid again, even at a 50mg dose, has me very nervous that it's going to screw up my body again.  Hell, I just finally now got rid of the bloating I've had for almost 2 months from it.  I'm more hopeful about acupuncture helping than the drugs at this point so I've emailed 2 places. Unfortunately getting there is going to be tough.  With my husband's schedule I only really have help with my daughter after they are closed and maybe 1 day on the weekend, but that never set. 

So not only am I looking at spending a lot of money doing this, but it will also cost me a lot of vacation time since I'll have to do it on work hours.  Both places are about 25 min away from work.  Regardless, I think this is something I need to try.

    That sucks about using your time, but I really think acupuncture words. I went for anxiety and it helped tremendously. I just wish my insurance covered it. Good luck!

    I would LOVE to be able to do it through our whole cycle, but we just can't afford it. I want to do it just for the relaxation alone! We'll do it the day of transfer, though, just because.

    I highly recommend it. While I went for ttcal issues, and I firmly believe it helped, I know it's also helped me with stress in general, and when I've had some muscle related problems.

     FWIW, check to see if there are any "community acupuncture" locations near to you - they often will have lower/sliding scale and better hours. difference is that the sessions are not completely private, but you are fully clothed. I was leery at first, but it ended up being wonderful and a whole lot cheaper.

    m/c#1 07/16/08 (11 weeks), m/c#2 10/10/08 (8 weeks). and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers). IUI#1 and #2: BFNs Super lucky to be buddies with Peetie. Our out of nowhere, surprise DD born 5/29/2011

    I LOVE acupuncture, in fact I just got home from it. I love how relaxed I feel and she has been helping get rid of the pain in my shoulder. We'll see if it helps with the IVF soon but I feel less crazy after I go, if that makes sense.

    I started acupuncture last cycle - have no idea if it helped, as I still had a crazy long cycle (62 days) but it certainly doesn't hurt, and it's a great stress reliever. It's time to myself anyway. And I always feel wonderful when it's done.

    Femera started November 2014. 3 rounds, no luck. Moving to IUI.
    March 2015: IUI#1 - nope.
    May 2015: IUI#2 - nada.
    October 2015: IUI#3 - BFP on Nov 2, 2015! *stick baby stick!*
