So yesterday i went to my f/u appointment from surgery. He showed me the pictures of the polyps that were removed and showed me my ovaries which he confirmed were polycystic (as if i needed more confirmation) they were white! (are they supposed to be?) He showed me my uterus and said it was looking great ![]()
With that said he wants a repeat hsg this coming cycle to ensure the polyps are gone because they will prevent implantation. Apparently i never had them on my first hsg before treatment and he wants to ensure they are all gone. So we are expecting that flow to be sometime in the beginning or middle of feb. He did not want us to do injectibles just yet. So then we said that id have to wait until we enduce a flow in march to do injectibles and because we are considering ivf in april, my dr and i agreed not to risk messing up the ivf cycle. So last night i completed paperwork to get approved for the anesthesia part of the retrieval. He said the center is strict on height, weight and bmi. I am nervous because i have a high bmi and am overweight. My RE said none of his patients have ever been turned down but that doesn't mean much. So here's hoping they approve me. If not, we will look into another center. This center doesn't use general anesthesia because some embryologists feel the anesthesia damages the eggs while others do not.
So that is where we are at. HSG when AF arrives after Provera and then sitting tight and preparing for IVF. I havent even started researching and haven't had the official talk with my RE yet but i am assuming that will happen after the hsg when we go over the results.
Thanks to those who made it this far! ![]()
