MODS: why has Erino not been banned?

Seriously - this is ridiculous.

She "admits" to lying about a miscarriage and an alcoholic husband - all for her "thesis work". This is a clear violation of TB TOS. It is total crap that she is still able to post.

I was banned for saying she was a liar - I don't understand how this situation is different.

    Also all those posts from last night are still up and FailWhale2 isn't banned. This is ridiculous. A few months ago all you had to do was hint about the trapper keeper and you were banned but when someone comes on here, lies to everyone, falsifies information and harrases other posters, they aren't banned?

    I would love an explanation from a Mod in regards to this as well. She is a mentally unstable liar who has attempted to manipulate people on this board. Clearly a TOS violation.

    I worked on forums for years. I'm still shocked we haven't heard the "It was my sister/cousin/evil twin posting under my name" excuse. I'm waiting for that one next.

    And it probably seems so real to her, too. I think she has what are known as delusions of grandeur.

    We have no power to delete or ban.  We have to ask Eileen to do so, which I have on several occasions.  Also FailWhale, etc. 

    Unfortunately, we don't have any power to do anything other than tell her on the private board.

     I just put another post on the Mod board and there are several other requests from other mods who have seen it as well.

    I will let you guys know as soon as I get a response.

    I know.  It just sucks because I want to be able to do something and there isn't much we can do.

    Kit, you have a very good point.  Trust us, we're on it. 

    In an effort to speed up the process, could  all of you please email community@thebump.com and let them know that the mods/members need quicker responses from the bump staff? 

    I have emailed, pm'd, posted on the bump moderators board but am not happy with response time. 

    Frankly, I'm tired of waiting around a week for a response while AE's wreak havoc on the board.  It's too much work and as you all know - mods work for free lol
