It's so heartbreaking when we're going through struggles with IF to see people choose to do this.

Are you freaking kidding me? This is disgusting. What really gets me was the quote "After what we have been through we are due for a bit of luck. We want to be given the opportunity to have a girl." WTH is that? They sound pretty lucky to me to have had three boys naturally and then twin boys via IVF only to terminate the pregnancy? Ugh, this makes me so angry.

That makes me so angry!!!! My 2nd loss was a baby girl and I would love to have another little girl, but doing that is just something I can not comprehend. I long for a healthy baby - plain and simple. They already have 3 healthy little boys and those 2 babies were probably perfect and healthy too. How they could do that is beyond me.

Must also be nice to have the resources to do ridiculous things like that . I can't imagine putting myself through IVF because I wanted a certain sex baby. That is just sick and crazy.

I honestly worry about any little girl she would have and the unhealthy attachment that woman would surely develop.

I'm not a religious person, but I feel like there is a special place in Helll for people like that.

People like that need a REAL reality check before they say shiit like that. That's really upsetting. Ick!

This stood out to me as well!!! They think they are due for a little bit of luck??? Conceiving your other children naturally was luck!!! This disgusts me and makes me so upset and angry for all the other women out there who would jump at the chance to have a baby, a happy healthy take home baby, and wouldn't care if it was a boy or a girl. This couple does not deserve a girl, in fact, i dont think they deserve any more children!! Angry

There is a special place reserved in hell for people who abuse life this way. I'm not talking about abortion, so I don't want this to be misinterpreted as my view of abortion of anything like that.... but to abort a child on the basis that he/she is not the sex that you want???

These people can go straight to hell. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. They fail at life.

Wow, just wow. While I feel for their loss, you would think losing a child would make them grateful for any child, not abort two children because they are boys!

The only sane comment is someone at the end who says they should seek counseling. And I wholeheartedly agree. Having a girl isn't going to cure the deep down grief they're obviously experiencing.

Someone posted on TTGP about this last week. It is horrible! And what I want to know is how far along was she? Did they do an amnio early on or was this done after an anatomy scan?

I was thinking this too. This story is just all kinds of wrong.
