I think I like the european dot better...only because I tihnk the pattern on the italian dot is too small unless it is pictured with the striped blanket. (I don't know if that makes sense, haha.)
I'd go organic jersey, but that has more to do with the
organic than the pattern. I love the Italian one, but if
there's the organic option for the same price, that's what
I'd do.
One of the reasons I'm not sold on the organic is that the padding of the bottom is some sort of plastic crap anyway, so I feel like it's a moot point. But I guess every little bit helps.

I love the european dot matelasse the best ... I like the larger dots and they show up better on the brown background. Also, the padding goes all the way around (underneath the handles). But ... they are all CUTE! Are you getting the basket stand as well? It seems like it might make a cute bassinet.
I like italian contrast the most, and european dot a close second (mostly because it doesn't have white on it...which always makes me nervous with babies, but I obviously don't have experience with that so it might not matter).
oh...and I love the basket and would take one in a heartbeat. I have a question though. What are they supposed to be used for? I know they used to be very common. Do you use them in the living room when you need to set the baby down or is it more for use with the stand (similar to cosleeping)? I'm just curious.
We're getting the stand, and DH's parents are building us a crib that one side can be removed from so we can side-car that to the bed for cosleeping (we have a full size bed, so bedsharing would be tough for us).
But, they aren't coming for a few weeks, so we can put this next to the bed for easy access at night.
I think we'll also use it for during the day (put it wherever I am when baby is taking a nap not on me) or maybe to take with when we go out to visit others.
They are only good for 18lbs/when they start rolling, so you only get a few months use out of them. Which is why I was resistant at first. But I love it too much to say no! haha.

I like the big dots on the organic but also like the European. We have a moses basket for our DD and I love it! You're going to be glad your mom twisted your arm!!
Re: Which moses basket bedding?
I agree...I like the organic jersey the best. Good luck with your choice.

I personally like the organic jersey, merely cuz i like the big dots and the colors. The organic is a bonus... if it truly is organic.
Like Lauren said though, they are all super cute so you can't go wrong with any of them.

Plastic crap sucks, but if the bedding is what's
touching DB's skin, then I'd thinkg the organic is
a positive. But I also have stupid sensitive skin,
so I tend to pay a lot of attention to what goes on
my surfaces (ex: I stole one of DH's t-shirts last
time I visited him, put it on when I was home and
missing him, and wound up with hives all over
my tatas because he'd used fabric softener
Funny now, NOT then.)

I agree with Lauren, how can you go wrong? Those are fantastic prints!
Poor Krista - you are such a petal!

Yep that's me. Lovely, delicate, and in need of total
gentleness for survival.
I think I made it about 8 seconds before snickering.

I love the stand. I'd love to have something like that for in the living room when the baby would be napping.
I agree with you. I don't think anyone would have to twist my arm much :-)
