My dance worked--I got a snow day. It is still snowing here, too! Sounds like the perfect excuse to do nothing but cuddle on the couch, watch the snow, and enjoy a fire. What is everyone else up to?

It's my day off and I have an acupunture appt this morning. It's very cold here (single digits) but no snow in the forecast today.

I'm at work waiting for our 2-4 inches to start. I have plans for tonight, so I can't decide whether I want enough snow to cancel them or not. If there's enough snow to cancel tonight's plans, then maybe I'd get to go into work late tomorrow...

That sounds fantastic! I think I need to do your dance for tomorrow. We are suppose to get snow overnight and I would love a snow day tomorrow.

I hate snow days though bc our district doesn't have them built in so we have to make them up later in the year. ?I'd rather come in on a snowy day and have most of the kids stay home. Hehe!?

I'm so jealous! We are only supposed to get 3-5" by tomorrow.
DH is at a trial about 1 1/2 hrs away, so I'm really hoping it holds off until later this evening. Unfortunately they're saying we'll have 1-2" by rush hour. Hopefully he'll make it home ok and his drive won't take forever.
Also today is my bday and this dang snow better not interfere with my dinner plans!

I hear ya! lol Whats a snow day?
I will never know living in Houston.
I live in Southwestern Ohio and we have already added a few inches on top of what we got last week and the snow isn't slowing down. I have class at 2 and am not looking forward to the 20+ mile drive in this weather. Especially since my class is only 1 1/2 hours long.
We are supposed to get a foot tonight and work still is saying they are probably not going to close :-(. Stupid cold weather states that are used to snow.
Even though I usually go in anyway if there is snow, since I don't drive in, it is nice and quiet at work during a snow day. Maybe it will be tomorrow anyway, especially if the schools are closed.
