Any must have tools? I have a Magic Bullet, Food processor and blender. I have two ice cube trays (thinking I need about 6 of these?), my little strainer and spatulas. Anything else?
Also anyone send their homemade baby food to daycare? I am having some issues with this...How do you send it? Do they warm it for you?

I have a pot with a steamer basket I used for cooking most veggies. Squash and potatoes were roasted in the oven.
I would either puree with a food processor or the immersion blender. The blender works pretty good on most stuff, but it didn't work for peas at first - the skins wouldn't break up enough.
Once things were pureed, I would freeze them in the ice cube trays that had lids and store in gallon ziplock bags.
Daycare let me bring a weeks worth of food at a time that they kept in the freezer, then they would defrost the food as needed. If they won't let you do that, you could send 2 small containers daily with the food already defrosted (for breakfast & lunch).
I used a steamer/rice cooker for certain veggies... I used a little "mini chop" food processor. They regular size was too big. You might want 8-10 trays. I always went on a cooking spree and made a lot! I also stored them in snap lock containers in the freezer marked with each item.
MDO happily warmed and fed the cubes I sent. I put them in little containers with lids and they would heat as needed.
