It's the one thing that we sitll don't have. I'm thinking about just getting a scrapbook and making one from scratch. Not sure yet. Help me find a cute one!
you fill in the dates, but it has space for a picture of the baby every month. little details to fill in like weight and height. and theres tons of stickers in the back for each month milestone plus "first trip to grandmas house", "first step", "first time feeding myself", "first haircute" etc etc. i know some people are anti disney characters but i love pooh, especially classic pooh.
We're using myownlittlestory.com. I love that it will remind me to fill things in and creates a shutterfly-type book whenever you're ready to print. You can upload digital pictures. This seemed easy to use and relatively fool proof. I was worried I wouldn't keep up with an actual baby book.
I would start from scratch and make your own. I think it would mean a lot more to you that way. The pp mentioned being worried about keeping up with it. I know it will be no problem for me b/c I am an avid scrapbooker and I record everything, but if you don't think you can, then I guess it would be better to buy one. I've already done one for the pregnancy, recording everything from dates of first kick and so on. I think it's fun to do it yourself. And even if you are to busy to, you can at least write down big moments and record them later.
i'm making one on shutterfly. i have a $20 credit that i received from motherhood maternity (i think), so i started to build an album online.
i'm going to have photos of the baby's grandparents, photos of me and the husband on the day he;s born, and maybe even my last bump photo when i get to take it. i'll also upload blank pages so i can get his foot and hand prints.
the 20 page book with hardcover starts at around $30, so i think this will be a great way to get my own personalized book.
I got the babys first year calander with stickers . From barnes and noble. I know I would forget about filling out a book but if its on the wall then its right in front of you. My mom actually did almost the same calander for me. Its fun to look at and be able to compare. Plus the fact that this year and 1983 started on the same day so the days should match up exactly the same is kind of neat. Except lo is due about 3 weeks before my birthday.
My sister bought us this one and the matching board book - I don't have it yet, as she's giving it to us as a shower gift but I picked it out... it's totally adorable in my opinion!!
I wanted something that could be personalized and that didn't have any characters or anything overly baby on it. I know we're odd but we aren't fond of the super baby stuff.

Re: Help me find a baby book
carters makes a baby record book for like the first 3 years or so. we registered for that. but i was out buying favors for the baby shower and came across this Babys First Year calendar with Classic Pooh (https://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS249&q=classic+pooh+babys+first+year+calendar&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=13147806476473093322&ei=L2IsTe6hCcG88gaa1920CQ&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CCsQ8wIwAg#)

I've looked at the digital ones, but I want one that has spots for me to write things in because I'm not that good at thinking of what to put in it.
I found this one... it's the winner so far. I really want one with monkeys on it, but I can't find one I like.

This is the one I like from Target; it looks like it has room to write things, as well as put photos (Sorry not clicky):

Here's one you might like, it doesn't have monkeys but kinda follows your nursery theme with circles:
