After throwing up this morning I am not motivated to eat anything at all. I've been snacking on bland cereal but I know I need to get something in my stomach.
What do you eat in these situations?

I drink Sprite and take Tums. Then if I feel a bit better I try Ritz crackers with cheese. Toast is good and with peanut butter if you can stand the smell. Also, try the sea-bands, I've found that these allieviate the nausea just enough for me to be able to get something in my stomach. Hope you feel better!
eat whatever you can get down. For me it was jello cups and quaker rice cakes. I love the large rice cakes - they're so bland and they didn't leave a bad aftertaste.
i have a glass of milk and soup(mostly broth and i pick out the meat).. take a tums.....and presto good bye sickness. everyones different, hope you find your thing that helps.
Strawberry applesauce and toast. Good luck! I'm on baby #2 and it seems this time around is a lot worse than the first time around. Here's to hoping we can all find something to stomach down- and can't wait to get into 2nd tri!
I think it's different for everyone. For me, it changes with the days. Like, I haven't had any vomiting or severe nausea, but I will get to a point where my stomach is just upset in general and I'll get these insurmountable food aversions. When this happens I have to just think of what I want more than anything, and whatever it is I will only settle for that. Trying to eat anything else just makes it worse.
Last night it was banana bread. I felt really crappy and I wanted banana bread, and by some miracle my mother produced some banana nut muffins without even knowing, and I was in heaven! Today? Nothing. But I forced down some oatmeal for breakfast, Goldfish for a snack, and chicken nuggets for lunch, and I've done pretty well for myself. Just eat whatever you can stand, and make sure your belly is full because that, believe it or not, helps a lot to stave off the nausea.
I'm the same with the only carbs on the days that I'm really bad. Mostly the Triscuit Thin Crisps (the ones in the shape of a triangle) those have been my savior.
