Is it ok to use Chloraseptic throat spray? My throat has hurt since Friday and I don't know what else to do :-( I went to the ER on Saturday and they said it's a virus and to let it run its course. I can't take much more!
It's not on my safe list, but that doesn't mean that is isn't safe. Have you tried gargling salt water? That always works better for me than the spray.
According to the list my doc gave me after my horrible cold this last week, I could have any over-the-counter cough lozenges, cepastat lozenges, and throat sprays. He also recommended warm salt water gargles for sore throat.

this was the case with my OB too. Sometimes warm beverages make sore throats feel better for me too.
Hi, It's on my safe list! Any throat lozenges, Chloraseptic spray, salt water gargle, etc are all listed as safe! My Dr also has Tylenol PM and Unisom on the safe list, which might make it a little more comfortable for you to sleep!
