DH and I met with our new RE today. We LOVED her. She is compassionate and has a great sense of humor. She wanted to hear all of our concerns.
Her plan for us is:
1. DH goes to a Urologist to find out what may be the culprit for his motility issues. DH will most likely do another SA to see if the lack of tobacco has made a difference in his motility.
2. She says some of my symptoms (occasional bleeding and pain with intercourse) could mean endometriosis and of course the only way to know is lap. She said that since everything looked good on my HSG that there was a 10-15% chance that they would find something during a lap procedure. She is ultimately leaving that decision up to me. And, I am pretty sure I am going to go-ahead with the procedure.
3. When we cycle again we will be doing IUI with 7.5mg of Femara, HCG and a low dose of Menopur. We can immediately cycle or we can wait until DH meets with the urologist and after I do the lap. We have a lot to think about.
She did a general u/s today and she said that she thinks I'd have a good response to Menopur.
I was so nervous prior to this appointment and now I am SOO glad that we went!

Hey love! I'm not out just yet. I am still remaining neutral so hopefully the possible let-down won't be so bad. My temps still look good, so it's hard not to get excited.
How are you doing these days? I hope you got well rested after your weekend run!
Thanks so much for your well wishes!
