Fever....when to call if at all?

I have a really terrible cold; aches, chills, and a fever. I remember reading something about fevers being bad for baby, but I can't remember the threshold. Googling gave me mixed results. Anyone know when to call or go in regarding a fever?

I say call now if you have a fever. The doctor can tell you if it's too low to be concerned or if you need to go in. You are pregnant; fevers are not to be messed with.

when I was in the hospital on bedrest before Christmas I woke up one morning with a 99.3* fever and they flipped out and gave me tylenol to bring it down. When I was discharged they told me that if it got over 100.5* to call my dr.
