Nursery Furniture Store Recommendations... Please :)

Hello... my DH and I am beginning our hunt for nursery room furniture and am wondering if anyone has recommendations on furniture stores that we should look at? We have been to the BRU & BBB and weren't too impressed with the selection and ability to really look at the furniture. And, we are nervous about ordering online without seeing the furniture first. We are thinking that we will need a crib, double dresser and glider.

BTW, we live in Alexandria and are willing to look anywhere in the area... thank you, in advance!!!!

    Babies to teen in manassas has an awesome selection and a HUGE showroom.  That is where we got DS's room set The other place you will hear recs for is great beginnings in MD somewhere, never been there but sounds like its pretty similar to babies to teen.

    We got ours from Great Beginnings in Gaithersburg.  The staff is so incredibly helpful.  My friend and her DH drove from Sterling to order their furniture there and another friend came from Baltimore.  It is definitely worth the drive.  And if you are willing to sing 30 seconds of karaoke, they will give your 15% off.

    Another vote for Great Beginnings. We got all of DS's furniture there -  crib, dresser, nightstand, and the recliner in his room. They were super helpful and my favorite part is they set it up for you when they bring it! Even though DH is really good with things like that they had it all done in 30 minutes, would have taken him a lot longer and possibly lots of "reminders" from me! :)

    Yet another vote for Great Beginnings.  Big furniture selection and great customer service.  They also run sales pretty frequently so be sure to inquire if there are any promotions going on.

    Baby2Teen in Manassas.

    And Great Beginnings in MD.

    Those are the two most recommended on this board.  We were really happy with the prices/service at B2T when we bought DD #1's "big girl" bed and furniture.

    Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.

    I would recommend the nursery furniture available at aBaby.com. Though it is an online shopping portal, the products that they offer are really unique and varied. If their shipment consists of anything that isn?t promised, of course you can return it. However, this has never happened. My friend and I have had a good experience with them and I recommend them for their assortment, especially of nursery furniture.
