If you were to make a photo book for DC...

what would the theme be? 

I've been wanting to make a photo book for J forever -he loves looking at photo albums and I think he would get a real kick out of it -but have never gotten around to it.  Well, now I have a coupon for a free one so I figure it's the time to do it.  I only have a few days before the coupon expires though so I think I'll just throw together something really quick.  Although I may try to make it an ABCs book with pictures of his family, favorite toys, etc.  So if you had the time what kind of theme would you do for your kid?  Would it be a record of the last year?  Family pictures?  Would you be super creative and write a whole story?  Please share!

    I would either do an ABC's book using pictures of family/friends/toys to represent each letter or I would make up a story about what the LO's favorite toy does during the day/night while the kid isn't with it. The second is a little more time intense, but I think a toddler/child would get a real kick out of it.

    Okay, that would be freaking awesome. I'm terrible at planning ahead to the degree you would need to in order to make it work but what a great idea!

    Yeah, there's a reason it's just an idea and something I've never done. I think it has to be one of those projects that you work on semi-slowly and then hope that the right coupon comes along to take advantage of. I'd love to see what you come up with though!

    I used a free coupon to make DS an ABC book last year.  I used lots of photos of his favorite things and wrote a little bit of text for each (the toughest part).  I only had to take a few photos to round it out.

    He loved it and loves to see it now, a year later.  When I made it, he wasn't yet talking and he used the book sometimes to show us stuff he wanted.

    I swore I would make a book about our epic trip from last summer and have it ready for my next free coupon but I haven't done it yet.

    My cousin is making a book with pictures of family members...captioned with their names so her son remembers those family members he doesn't see all the time (they live at least an hour away from most family members).

    You could make up your own story...or retell a story of a vacation you've taken with your child (adding pictures of course). ABC book would be super cute too, with things around the house...things he sees all the time.
