   I am not sure how far north you are but my friend Edna makes them out of her home at a reasonable price. She has made tons of baby shower cakes. I am including her email if you have interest.

  Hi, does she have a website/facebook I can see? I would prefer around the Lynn or Salem area anything further will depend on the price and work of the cake.

  call me cheap but i went to Market Basket in Chelsea and got my baby shower cake done there. 3 tiers for 90 dollars and i had so much cake left over and i had about 25ish people at my party. 

  i brought a picture of my plates that we were using and told the lady to do a cake with the theme and it came out awesome i loved it!

  i personally dont think spending more than 100 dollars on a cake is sane cause you are eating the cake and it is a waste of money but some people consider the cake the focal point of the party besides the parents to be.

  i would say if you have a picture and you dont want anything fancy smancy to go MB in chelsea, the lady there is really good and has great ideas. she works from like 6-3 monday-fri maybe saturdays.
