Research Study Concerning Politics, Personality (and Pregnancy)

Hello,

 

I am a research professor at the University of New Mexico, and I am conducting a study investigating how political attitudes relate to certain personality traits. Some of the more specific hypotheses concern how these variables relate to each other during different trimesters of pregnancy. I posted this message on the "first trimester" board last week, and I got a fantastic response rate. If you have ten minutes, I'd greatly appreciate your participation. The study has been approved by the UNM ethics board and is 100% legit (no spam or viruses). I will paste in a UNM approved recruitment message and link to the study:

 

Researchers from the University of New Mexico psychology department are conducting a study examining how personality relates to political attitudes (like your attitudes toward abortion and taxes) and emotional reactions to common situations (some of which concern immoral behaviors, like finding out that someone has forged a signature, and some of which concern sexuality, like hearing two strangers having sex). The study involves answering a series of questions online. The survey usually takes less than ten minutes to complete, and many people will finish in about five minutes. Some people may take more than ten minutes. There is no compensation provided for taking the survey. You must be 18 years or older to complete the survey.

    I would be interested in finding out how you got permission from thebump to post this? I tried to contact them a few years ago regarding a study on pregnancy and organizational conflict and got no response.
