I've been taking DS to Eastman and Wozniak off of 14 mile, but I'm not impressed. In fact, I think Eastman overlooked my son being jaundice when he was a newborn. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!
Birmingham Pediatrics, we've been seing Stacy Wittenberg. My favorite thing is that they answer and encourage emails as primary communication with the doctors, it's so nice to be able to email a question and get a response from the doctor a few hours later. LO was jaundice at birth and dr. monitored her closely, re-tested a few days later, called immediatelly with the results.

OMG, the same thing happend with my DD, Dr. Eastman was the on call doctor and he saw us 2 mornings (I had a c-section) and never once mention how yellow she was. It was the nurse at check out that said we should take her in the next day to get her checked out, turns out she was VERY jaudice. I still take her to see Dr. Wozniak but refuse to take appts with Dr. Eastman now.

Them and Mali & Mali seem to be most recommended on these boards.
This. They are a wonderful group of practitioners. So far we've only seen Dr. Molly O'Shea (she's awesome!) but we got to meet Stacy Wittenberg and she seemed very nice as well.

Another vote for Birmingham Pediatrics here! We take our DD to them and love all the staff there. We've primarily met with Dr. Molly & Nurse Practioner Lori and both are fantastic. Plus I really like how non-doctors office it feels like in there...I think it will make going to the Dr. less scary for DD as she gets older.
We go to Child Health Associates on Big Beaver in Troy. We are new to the area so we've only been twice, but so far I am very impressed with the doctors. We saw Dr. Mackey and Dr. Koval. Love them both! Dr.Mackey was not afraid to take my daughter off Advair and made me feel confident about the decision. (I was all for it, fyi.) She did a spirometry (sp?) test and concluded my daughter's lungs were totally normal/not asthmatic and she gave me a plan to wean her off the Advair. Then we saw Dr. Koval for a physical and my daughter was literally smiling the whole time. She's 7 years old so her opinion is valid to me. So far, loving this place!
We also use Child Health Associates in Troy and LOVE them! The Drs are all wonderful and the nurse line is amazing...always quick to respond and so helpful. We originally started at Royal Oak Pediatrics and were not fans for various reasons.
Re: Peds Recommendation for Birmingham/Royal Oak/Troy
