Snacks while dieting

What snacks do you eat during the day??

 This what I been eating

Breakfast- Special K Bar

Snack- String chesse, Apples

Lunch- Sandwhich on wheat bread or salad or soup

snack-special k bar or string cheese or apple

Dinner-  chicken wrap or chicken. 

I feel like I need some more ideas what to eat. I just started on Monday with working out.  HELP!!!!!

  • It doesn't sound like you're getting enough protein.  You could add in peanut butter to replace the string cheese for one of those snacks.  And also you should have a little more fruit... Try to keep your carbs more for the morning & afternoon to kick start your day. If you did a plain oatmeal packet in the morning with a spoon full of applesauce (to sweeten the oatmeal up a bit) that could be another option for breakfast.

     Muscle Milk Light is really good too.  You could use a shake of that (I like Chocolate Milk the best) for a snack and a post-workout recovery drink.

  • You should really have more protein with your breakfast to help keep you from being hungry.  Maybe add in some more fruit and veggies, too.

    If you're working out, you'll probably want to make your breakfast and lunch a little bigger in addition to your snacks.  It seems like your day is pretty low on calories (depending on how much/how intense you are working out)

  • i try to eat mostly healthy, and found that fruit is the best, its tastes great and is filling. + it makes your body work to digest so it gets your calorie burner goin :)

  • I love pudding for a snack!  It gives me the chocolate fix, it's fat free, and only about 100 calories.
  • I love hard boiled egg whites for snacks, only 17 calories and lots of protein.  I do fruit and nuts for snacks too.
  • veggies with hummus is another good idea for a snack. also, have you ever had emerald dark chocolate almonds? they're almonds dusted with dark chocolate powder. feed your chocolate fix and they are actually good for you.
