Does the silhouette cut chipboard?

I want to make a journal with tabs, roughly 5x7.  However,  I can't find tabs for that dimension.  So, I was wondering if you could use the silhouette to do it.  Maybe I shouldn't use chipboard but thick cardstock. 

Would anyone else have any other suggestions on how to go about this?

    I'm not sure if it will cut chipboard, but it will cut really thick cardstock (bazzill maybe?? I'm not a paper scrapbooker, so I'm not familiar with what it will cut)  with the yellow blade.
