Our 1st pregnancy that ended in m/c took 3 cycles, 2nd pregnancy was our daughter and took 2 cycles. And now we're on cycle 4 trying for #2. It sucks TTC! Just wondering if anyone else out there took longer for #2. Seems like #2 always happens quicker which scares me.
Re: How long did it take to conceive #2?
3 cycles for #1 & 6 cycles for #2
Be patient, I'm sure your bfp is right around the corner!
20 cycles, 1 surgery, and 5 IUI's for #1
0 cycles for #2 (we weren't really trying yet because who would have ever thought it would happen on it's own). We were waiting for CD1 to start back into IUI's again, but CD1 never came.

This child (#2) is technically my 4th pregnancy. First pregnancy took 3 cycles and ended in m/c. Second pregnancy took 3 cycles and ended in m/c. Third pregnancy took 6 cycles and was DS. This pregnancy took 2 cycles.
GL!! I know it's such an emotionally draining place to be in, waiting for a BFP.
DD - February 2011
I don't understand your last sentence....
Regardless, with our first it took 4-5 cycles and we conceived spontaneously. With our 2nd (I'm currently 37 weeks), it took ~24 cycles and, as you can see from my signature, it was a long road. I did several cycles on clomid, IUIs with injectibles, and, finally, 4 rounds of IVF before getting a BFP.
Good luck - I hope your road isn't as long as mine but I think it's quite naive to assume 2nd time would be quick.
DD#1 and DS were short amounts of time. For us, #3 was the struggle - over 2 yrs and one m/c!
It is hard to wait, I know. Good luck to you!
