Thanks!  I know that 4 inches isn't amazing to some of you northerners...but it has pretty much shut down Atlanta!

Ha, ha...DH drug me out!  I would've been so content to stay in my pjs and sip my coffee on the couch, but in the end, I thoroughly enjoyed it!  I don't blame you for staying WARM!  :)

Haha, I know how that goes. When I was in Southern IL for a couple semesters, we had a few inches and the town was pretty much shut down. The only reason it's not a big deal up here is because we have salt/plow trucks lined up and ready to go before it even starts snowing. :) Now, as far as people driving like they've never seen snow before? We still have PLENTY of those up here. Confused

You should see the photos they're showing on the news of all the goofs that have already wrecked trying to drive on the highway.  Even our governor and mayor are urging people to stay off the roads...there is no way I am driving my 2-wheel drive vehicle on non-plowed roads.  I just hope my *very pregnant* friend doesn't go into labor today or tomorrow.

Awww these are GREAT!  8 inches, wow!  I think Atlanta got more than 4, but I am not sure what the "official" amount is.  I have a cousin who lives in Chattanooga, and we go through there all the time on our way to KY.  Your DD is precious!  I was telling DH how wonderful I thought it would be if we had a LO to share this day with.  Enjoy, and stay warm and safe!

I LOVE Roswell!  If you are ever here, give me a "shout."  8-9 inches, wow!  And, we have two cats also.  We set them outside on our deck, and one of them darted back inside so fast--I don't think they like the snow either!  Enjoy the "double" snow days!  I hope that we get tomorrow too---this is so much fun!

She passed when I was in college so I haven't really been since then. My parents live in Rome and my sister in Decatur though! I've seen several of my teacher friend in the ATL area post that they are out tomorrow, too.

Yeah, I think most all of the schools have already announced, but that doesn't necessarily mean that my office will close (though I *hope* so!).  About to snuggle in for a movie with DH...thanks for "playing!"

Oh no!  At least it would make for a good birth story and a lifetime of "We fought the snowstorm of 2011 to get to the hospital so I could give birth to you and this is how you treat me!?"

LOL, I know, right?  I told her that she must call an ambulance (or at least someone with 4-wheel drive).  What's funnier is our boss (we work together) offered to pick her up and reminded her that he delivered his son.  Can you imagine, "My boss delivered my baby"?!  I hope it doesn't come to that!

    BTW, I <3 your siggy!  I *wish* I could knit...I barely crochet!

Thanks! The girl does. I got the cats when they were 4 weeks old from the SPCA and had them in ferret harnesses right away so at least both of them are used to wearing the harnesses. The girl, Remi, truly thinks she's a dog so does whatever my pups do so will walk around on a leash. She will actually scream herself hoarse if the dogs go out back but she doesn't. So I stick her in her harness and on a long lead tied to a chair and out she goes. The boy wants nothing to do with the outdoors so he stays inside.

Oh, and I stick my tubby cockapoo on the treadmill for exercise!! I don't think my cats would enjoy that though.
