??? I'm confused -- how can they tell the sex at not even 12 weeks?
I'm wondering this, too! How far along was the girl who found out thru CVS testing a few weeks ago and we thought she had picked up something at the pharmacy? haha! On a serious note, maybe that's what the OP had done?
Regardless, congrats OP! My dad had all girls, as well. Poor guy!

Thank you very much Ladies- we did have the Transnuchal screening done today- which unfortunately is the only way to get an Ultrasound at 12 weeks. No Bloodtest though- you get what you get...or at least that's how I feel.
Back when I was pregnant with DD the Technician asked at the 12 week US if we wanted to know so we obviously jumped...she explained then how they can tell so early- not exact science and not every technician or Dr. are willing to give you a guess.
The technician today said that her skills weren't to proficient- but she left the gel on my belly in case the Dr. needed to take some more measurements. When he came in to tell us the measurements looked good I sweet talked him into taking a look- I soooo could not stand not knowing. (I'm terrible) So once he located the sex organs I kinda knew from the pictures I'd seen and he confirmed. So for now it's not a SURE thing...but some 95% accuracy.

Our family blog
Based on the OP's statement "the screening came back normal", my educated guess would be that she had a CVS/amino done.
OP: congrats on a healthy baby girl!
BFP #3 via cancelled IUI ~ C (2lb 3oz; HELLP) 5/16/11
BFP #4 via the natural (free!) way ~ E (8lb 11oz) 9/13/12
This and Congrats!
Did you have amnio or cvs testing done? I'm really glad your screening came back good if you did. I bet you were feeling pretty stressed.
Congrats on the healthy little girl!
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

Hope you ladies have a tech that may be talked (or strong armed) into giving you an educated guess too if you're dying to know as much as I was!
