What is your insurance deductible?

What is your insurance deductible?  (collision/comprehensive).  Mine is 500/100, Todd's is 1000/1000.  He'd rather save the $ on premiums and risk having an accident.  We're looking at combining policies and I'm trying to decide if I want to up mine.

    $500.  I'm in the camp that insurance is for large/catastrophic type of bills, but, we went with the $500 after comparing the premiums at $500, $1000, etc.

    the other half of the equation is the Out of pocket max.  For each of our insurance options (I have 1, Matt had 5 options!)  I plotted out minimal we will pay (premiums), expected amt (premium + deductable + expected out of pocket payment), and the max (premium +out of pocket max)  and that's how we decided.
