Hawaii Babies

love these!

I bought a couple sets of these Orbit Labels to put on the boys' bottles and sippy cups for daycare. Love them! Sooo much handier than stickers or regular labels, and I like that I can keep using them later on for drink bottles, etc. Big Smile

  • Sorry I was so distracted by your new pics that I couldn't even read the post :) I love the new ones, too cute! Especially the last one!

  • They're very cute, but too bad we're required to put a fresh label every day with the date and time the bottle was made, plus the date and time it expires (always 24 hrs. later, so I'm not sure why we need both).  I love these date labels, but it looks like they wouldn't have enough room for everything I need to write.  Sad

  • i think those will work perfect for us!  I have been writing the date on tape and sticking that on the bottle.

  • ditto about the cute new pics - but we also love the bumpy name bands.  Jack was a trendsetter at daycare, haha, most of the babies have them now.

Our center only makes us label the bottles with their name since they like you to provide fresh bottles daily - making a date unnecessary.  Date is required only if you want to keep your milk stored there for some time (and I don't - I like to make his bottles). So, the bands work great for us.  Not sure what the protocol is for formula, but from what I can deduce most formula children just bring in empty bottles and a can of formula and the carer mixes it as needed.

If he brings home a full bottle that can be reused I just slip a post it into the band that says "use this bottle first" that they discard or put back in his cooler.

  •  ooh, i like! i'll keep this in mind for when little E goes to daycare!

Gosh, that would be nice!  Our center is sooooo strict!  I have to mix each bottle at home and bring them in every day with the date and exact time they were made labeled (even though they have a strict policy that if you leave a bottle overnight they will throw it away).  I'm used to it, so I don't really mind, but it sure would be nice to just leave a thing of powder there and have them mix it!

At our daycare, we provide pre-mixed bottles that have to be labeled with the child's name, but they don't require a date or time. That would be a huge PITA!
