Up & Up diapers..

If you use them, are they comparable to Huggies or Pampers?  I have never tried them and I usually use Pamper's Baby Dry for DD..I really don't care for Huggies. The Up & Ups are so much cheaper I am thinking about giving them a try I'm just worried they will leak or something, I use the overnight diapers on DD all the time because she drinks a LOT and goes through diapers like crazy.

Re: Up & Up diapers..

  • We use Up & Up every day and LOVE them!  They never leak.  Sometimes Curly will wake up in the morning with a diaper that's literally SAGGING from being so wet, but they've never leaked out!

    Try them, you'll like them!

  • I use the Up and Up diapers during the day and have never had a leak. I LOVE them, they are better, in my opinion, than Huggies (which I used before) and Pampers.

I still use the Huggie Overnights at nighttime, since she's a big nighttime wetter.

  • we started using up&ups when dd got into size 2 diapers (we used pampers swaddlers before that)...i honestly think they're the best diapers available.  i loved the swaddlers for her when she was tiny b/c they're so soft and nice but the target diapers are great.  we've never had a leak and they seem a little bigger so they fit longer.  i swear she has been in size 4s FOREVER.  plus i just got 142 (i think??) for $20 and a lot of times target will give you a print out coupon for $1.50 off your next up&up diaper purchase at the register.
  • I exclusively used Pampers until he grew out of Swaddlers. I went through one box of Cruisers and then gave Up&Up a try and haven't used anything else since. I've never had a leak problem, just an occasional blow out but we had those with Pampers as well. We used Baby Dry over the holidays at my MIL's and honestly I like the squishy way the gel feels when they're wet (up&up are more of a solid feel) but I wouldn't switch back. For the price I can live with un-squishy. We do still use Pampers overnight diapers though.

  • We've used them since DD was a few months old and I've never had any problems.  I think they work great.  I also use their wipes.

The only time I've had problems with a leak is because DD sleeps on her tummy with her knees scrunched up and the pee has nowhere to go but forward in the diaper and sometimes leaks out the front, but that is rare.

  • LOVE them!  We starting using them when our CD started to give DS a rash : ( and have only had a few leaks, but that may have been mommy/daddy error. We drive out of our way to buy them. They are cute, too!

  • We use them all the time and never have leaks.  We use them for daytime or over night.  You can always print a $1.50 off coupon on Target's website making them even cheaper.
  • DD leaks in any other kind of diaper, even going a size up in ones like Huggies.  I swear by Target diapers.  And I can't complain that they are a lot cheaper to boot.
  • Thanks ladies!  I will def give them a try..especially since we will have two in diapers soon, I can't see the point in paying more if I don't need to.  DD leaks in her Pampers occasionally too because she sleeps on her tummy with her knees scrunched up also, so I'm sure that would happen in any brand : )
