In need of some assistance! Maybe TMI?
Hey guys, I have a question for you! I will give a quick back story since no one really knows me yet. I have been charting for 2 cycles now while I had my Mirena in (mostly to get into the habit, but also curious to see if I was O'ing while it was in) after reading TCOYF a couple of months ago. We are planning on avoiding for a few months till my cycle regulates after being on hormones for the better part of 7 years. It seems that the 2 cycles I have been charting I have O'd, but who knows for sure....
Anyway, I had my Mirena removed last Friday (which would be CD23, and 7DPO according to chart). The next day I was having serious cramps which spanned into yesterday. I figured I had my first "real" AF coming in about 2 years and that it was going to kick my butt. Last night I had a little bit of spotting so was sure it was coming. This morning I woke up to a TON of EWCM with blood mixed in (which I remember from TCOYF as being considered very fertile). When I put it into my chart, my solid CH went to dotted.
My question is, should I really consider myself post-O? Or not? I'm so confused bc of Mirena...I am not sure that I really O'd in the first place or what? Should I have treated that as CD1? Does anyone have this sort of CM right before AF? Forgive me, its been forever since I've had AF! haha....Could you check out my chart and tell me what you think?
And SO sorry this is so rambled and long! Any input is greatly appreciated!

EWCM is very common during the LP and anytime you record it on FF it will make your solid CH go dotted.
Your chart makes me believe that you did O. GL!
i'm with brandywine... but your first cycle off BC of any kind can be really strange, so just wait it out and see how you go.

Everyone responds differently when the Mirena is removed, I have had two and can show you both of my post Mirena charts via the link below. Can you pick up some OPK's to see what is going on? You really may not have been ovulating while you had the Mirena, but I am pretty sure I was when I had it the second time.

ETA: I just looked at your chart and saw you had a period while on Mirena, I never had a period in the 4 1/2 years (total between 2) I had one inserted.

Thanks for the link. That helps. I just ordered some OPK's from amazon a few days ago, but have not received them yet unfortunately. Yeah...about the period thing. I usually didn't have one, and I can say I haven't really had a "real" one in the 2 years I had it (Except maybe right after I had it placed), but every so often, I would get a "light" sort of bleeding. Not every anything that I had to use a tampon or anything, mostly like a reddish discharge. I figured just by watching my temps this last cycle that I could count this last one to start a new chart. The first cycle, I just picked my start date as a period because it wouldn't let me start charting until I put in a "date of last period". So that's why it is like that. I was worried that I hadn't been ovulating and maybe I am about to since my CM just changed so much. I will just keep a watch and maybe I will start AF soon?

Its nice to know others experience with mirena. Mine is out tomorrow. I haven't been charting but plan to start right away. I wish I would have started before I had it out.
