I am going to buy some newborn diapers on Amazon cuz I have a 20% off coupon, and I am thinking about buying the 84 count box. I know it's on a baby-to-baby basis, but do you think I'd use all these? I really don't remember how long DS was in NB diapers, it didn't seem like a long time. But I'm pretty sure this baby is a peanut compared to him, and the NBs go up to 10 lbs. So I should be good, right? I just don't want a ton left over.
Re: Refresh my memory on newborn diapers
I remember at one point going through 8-10 in a day in the beginning so I'm sure you'd use them all up!
ETA: DD's stats are in my signature (about average size) and she was in NB for at least a few weeks.

2IF does not always equal 3IF...Surprise!
I used the 2 small packs the hospital gave us as well as one of those 94 count boxes and another small pack before moving up to size 1. Jason was 8lbs 2oz
Jax was a biggin and I'm pretty sure we still used 2 big boxes of newborn Pampers Sensitive Swaddlers.
ETA: He was 9lb 3oz at birth. You'll easily go through 84 in one week. We went through 10-14 per day in those early weeks.
DS was just shy of 8 pounds for reference and he was in NB sized Swaddlers for approximately 4 weeks. I think we used two larges cases of NB diapers before moving into size 1.
My DS is 6 weeks and still in newborn diapers....and he was 8lbs 12oz when he was born!
We have gone through 2 boxes of 96 and two smaller packages! I would never have thought!
I'm no help. The NICU had to go find a package of 1s to use on Kaygan because the newborn ones didn't fit her!
I don't know that we'll buy more than a small pack of newborns this time, if that... Since we didn't use them last time, and had to do the 'fold the front down' trick, it's not like we were spoiled with the cute little cord cut out thingy.
