I had a natural birth back in March and LOVED it. I have a new friend who is wanting to have a natural birth with her first LO in February and recently asked me about it since she knew I had one. I am going to send her info on it but was wondering what your favorite info online regarding natural birth is. From both sides medically and experience wise. She doesn't need help deciding but more info on having a natural birth so blogs, books, video's, websites etc. TIA!

and Ina May's books.
this might sound a little odd, but i'm reading The Birth Partner by Penny Simkin and there is some really fantastic information in there about what happens in the body during birth and how to relax. for me the best help in making me feel more comfortable with the natural birth i hope to have is just knowing what exactly is going to be happening in there! what i don't know is always what i'm most scared of.
i also loved ina may's guide to childbirth. literally half the book is natural birth stories. they aren't all smooth births either, there is a mix of births with complications as well. for me again, knowing what could go wrong takes the scariness of the unknown away....
We did the HypnoBirthing class then found HypnoBabies...
We did the HypnoBabies home study course and LOVED it. We are going to use it for baby #2 too.
