I O'd twice

Just to sum:

CD18 - trigger at 8am. 2 follies, a 23 and 18.

CD19 - at 8am showed I O'd the 23 follie but the 18 was still there, so IUI

CD20 (today) - at 8am it showed I O'd the 18 follie. Apparently it was about 12mm and it had fluid and RE says it O'd because if it wasn't mature and didn't O, it would either still be there or it would have shrunk but not by that much. So, we did another IUI.

I start progesterone tonight via vag suppositories, good times.

Thought I'd share. I really didn't think O'ing twice was all that common but I guess it can be. I felt pains on my right side late last night before bed and I wonder if that's what it was.

Hey lady! You know, I think the same thing happened to me. I had 3 mature follies last Friday, triggered, and then when I went back on Monday, one follie had not o'd and he said it looked like it was going to any minute. I didn't even know this could happen.

That's great that you had another chance, though! Fingers crossed for you hun! Do you have a beta scheduled or are you doing the same as last cycle?

This is really weird, right? I'm just excited that the RE and nurses seem to think that the timing was good this time, it makes me hopeful.

Ging - hey you! It looks like we have the same thing going on! Did he say how he knew that the follie on Monday was going to O at any minute?

Re the beta, we haven't scheduled one yet, but I do have a progesterone check on Friday.

I hate the 2ww!

He didn't really say, just that it was big, 24mm. And I did feel O pain later that day, so he was probably right. That's kinda crazy that it happened to both of us this cycle. At first I thought it was kinda weird that he made me come back on Mon to make sure that I o'd but it turned out to be beneficial. We had sex again that night, but we probably would not have otherwise.

Oh yeah then that was definitely ready to go! Mine was 23 and I believe it O'd that night. I'm glad you got a sexytime session in that night, that's great timing! I'm surprised you did though bc I'm guessing the weekend was full of T/I Stick out tongue

No sexy time since, though. LOL. DH is bugging me about tonight but I'm sooo achy. Haha.

Hahahaa that's awesome!

PS did you do the Kaiser HM? Congrats on the first HM of the year! I miss running sometimes but my plantar fascitis really screws it up. I've gained so much weight in the past year and an extra 20 or so pounds since September. I won't be doing any exercising during the 2ww but I AM eating better starting this past week so hopefully that helps my weight. =/

Yes it was the Kaiser HM. I forgot that you are a runner too! We really need to get together. We have a lot in common:) Yup, I know that when I stop running, the weight will start piling on:( Ugghhh....TTC this long sucks.
