Parenting after 35

    It IS a good topic!

    My .02 is that, while one should try not to be too fearful of a c/s when necessary, I'd always opt for a vaginal birth if it's possible. I was pretty worried about being able to push M out. I did end up pushing for 2.5 hours and needed vacuum assistance, but I'd much prefer that than surgery.

    I agree, I pushed for 1.5 hrs and was very worried that I would need a c/s but thankfully, all the midwife needed to do was an episiotomy and Adrian came right out. I fully intend to ask for the episiotomy again if we have another baby. That to me is not a big deal at all compared to a c/s.

    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
