Trying to Get Pregnant

Odd pain... can someone help?

For the past couple of days, I have felt like AF is around the corner: Dull cramps here and there, some minor aches and wanting chocolate all the time (I always want chocolate before AF lol) Anyways, today, later in the afternoon, my cramps were a little more intense (still not bad) and now my right side is a little achy. Almost like I pulled a muscle. It's not a constant pain. I just can't think of anything I could have done to have pulled that muscle...

Just curious if anyone has experienced this before or had any thoughts? My periods have all been whacky since I had my son, so I really don't know if it's coming or not, but Dh and I have been going at it since the end of December  in attempt for #2 so I hope not. Not sure what this feeling is and I know it's too early to test. I thought maybe I was ovulating and took an opk but that was negative.

Thoughts? Thanks!

  • It could be signs that your period is around the corner, but it also could be signs of pregnancy as well. There really isn't a way to be sure unless you wait it out, and test, or see if your period comes. It could go either way really.

  • I had implantation cramping? when I got pregnant with DD. I was certain that I was getting my period. A friend of mine said, "didn't you just have your period". Then they just kind of went away and I never got, AF. I really didn't think anything of it, until I got BFP a few weeks later. Good Luck!

I was just wondering if you had cramps pretty evenly placed? Right now, they are pretty much only on the right side. Cramp is about the best way I can describe it or maybe a dull ache.

Sorry I'm not more help but, I don't remember exactly. From what I remember, it really felt like menstrual cramps. I remember putting a pad on because I was certain I would get it at any second. I had also just gone off BCP so I wasn't really analyzing the cramps, since we weren't truly trying yet.

How old is your LO? So cute!

Thanks. Any info is helpful. These aren't exactly like menstrual cramps so we'll see. Our son is 10 months old! Love your pip. Adorable!

Can you give us a bit more info? What CD are you? When in December did you start 'going at it'? How long are your cycles usually?

In my first cycle TTC I had bad cramps from about CD10 to AF. Don't read too much into it or you'll drive yourself crazy.

I can try. My last period started first week of December and didn't end until around the 25th of December. So when I say my cycles have been whacky, I mean, they have been WHACKY. My period before that was mid November and it lasted a normal (for me) 4-5 days. I just started charting and am terrible at it. That's about all the info I can give you. Oh and Dh and I started really trying December 28th. We've been doing the dirty deed about every other day.
