Obviously, not right this second. But, what book are you currently reading? What do you think of it? All of the book posts have me curious.
Me: The Girl That Kicked a Hornet's Nest by Larsson
So far, so good. I just started it, but really enjoyed the other books. Now I have to see what happens;)
Re: What are you reading right now?
Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. I've heard great things about him, enjoyed the movies I've seen based on his stuff (Stardust and Coreline), and he's really entertaining on Twitter. So far, he's living up to my expectations.
Mes Petit Choux
I can't go back to yesterday - because I was a different person then. ~ Alice
I just started reading a novella called The Sickroom. It's pretty good so far but I didn't realize when I started reading it that it's just a novella (I bought it on my e-reader so it wasn't like I could see the actual book for size)
I finished reading The Bishop's Man last night, which was great, but might be hard for someone who's not Canadian or familiar with parts of Canada to really "get".
I liked The Help and the Red Tent!
I just finished Murder on the Orient Express for a book club and now I don't know what to read next. I might try A Thousand Splendid Sons.
Squirrell seeks Chipmunk by David Sedaris
I love David Sedaris and this is hilarious so far
I just finished Water for Elephants, and while the depictions of the abuse 1930s circus animals suffered really got to me, the ending TOTALLY made up for it.
I'm now on to The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. I just started it, but so far so good. I have a feeling it will be sad, though.
I am ashamed to say I just started my first non-baby related book since LO was born. And it has taken me 5 days to get 30 pages in (I am so exhausted at night and that is my only real chance to read....) but despite that, I am in love with it....
The Art of Racing in the Rain.
I just finished Cutting for Stone and loved it. I read all the Outlander books. I loved them in the beginning. The last few have been more work than they are worth.
I'm reading a new biography of Cleopatra. It's slow going, but I like it.
The Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlene Harris. I love them perfect before bed reading. We started watching True Blood this past year and that got me into the books.
Man, I LOVED the Red Tent. I read it years ago, but I still remember so much of it and think about it often. Which is weird, but I do.
Right now I'm reading Deception Point by Dan Brown.
