Who posted about getting a tiny baby sock stuck in their HE washer??
This afternoon, DH told me that there was something wrong with the washer and that the display was showing a drain malfunction. Out of nowhere I remembered that post, pulled out the drain plug, and out came 5 gallons of water and a little tiny baby sock. Problem solved!
Lesson learned - put baby socks in a mesh bag.
Re: Baby sock in the washer
Ha. Love the mesh lingerie bag. If I don't use that, the socks end up in the front ring of the washer door (totally soaked and soaped up). Haha! : ))
p.s.- How's Charlie doing with the crib? And tell your DH GL with the student teaching! I went through that not long ago! It's fun, but it's demanding! : ))
Yeah, its hard enough to keep track of those tiny things without the washer eating them! Haha
Charlie is doing pretty well with the crib - its kind of hit and miss. I think he's starting up another growth spurt, so he's been eating more than sleeping. Last night, he was tough to get to sleep, but then slept alright once he was in bed. Hopefully, he gets better at this because I'd love to get some sleep!
I'll let DH know! He had a really good first week and really likes his class. He's teaching 8th grade English. 1 week down, 11 to go!!
How's Miss Lainey doing sleep-wise?

Yeah, those growth spurts are nasty! Good for you for keeping with it! Yeah, my student teaching was 6 periods of 9th grade English! Fun times! It was a lot of hands on learning though and I am very grateful for it! : ))
Lainey's doing pretty well sleep-wise. She has been doing 7 or more hours, but last night she did 5. We are going to move her P 'n' P up to her room tonight to try and get her adjusted to that environment. Then we will work on switching her to the crib. I go back to work week after next, so we've got to get it figured out soon enough! : )
Oh-ma-gosh...I'd give my left arm for Charlie to sleep longer than 3 hours. Haha I'm glad Lainey is doing well! I hope her transition to the crib goes smoothly. It can be stressful at first, but just give it a go.
