I've been hearing this same phrase since I was in the 2nd grade and I have YET to find it within myself.  I want to get my 1st spontaneous AF NOW and I want to be able to start trying again NOW.  I don't want that to sound insensitve since my DH and I were devisated to learn about the loss of our baby, but the experience has brought us together in ways I couldn't have imagined and has made us even stronger as a couple.  We want a baby so badly (as we all do!) and are ready to try again.  My Dr. as advised us to wait until after my 1st AF but I feel like that is an eternity away!

    Right Hug I know it's so hard to wait. My af didn't come until 33 days after my surgery and I used to be on a 28 day cycle. And for almost a week it was rearing it's ugly head [read: I was so hormonal] but it didn't come - at LAST it finally came. It's so different for so many women. Hang in there girl, I know it's hard!

    ((HUGS))  I know how you feel about TTA.  It has been 5 weeks since my missed MC started and was waiting for AF to arrive and and now having to get a DnE done after all this time because my BETA levels are going back up and my body didnt pass everything so this completly sets us back!  Its so hard when all you want to do is TTC and we are forced to TTA, but it is all for the better to have a healthy pregnancy when we do.  sending AF dust your way.

    I'll throw you some AF dust!

    Waiting for AF after mc is nerve-racking, I used it to take advantage of some of the things I knew i wouldn't be wanting to do while I was TTC....like going out late with my friends, drinking lots of coffee :)  I also saw it as a time to try to get back in shape so that when AF came and we could TTC I would feel more motivated to keep working out and stay healthy during the pregnancy.  Not all of these things may apply to you, but it helped me get through the tough waiting period.  My AF came 4 weeks after my D&C.

    I waited 12 weeks after miscarriage for my first period to come, it does suck. Hopefully it works out for you.

    I waited 5 years for my babies, and hopefully I don't have to wait 5 more.
