DS is nursing every two hours on the dot round the clock. Exhausting! How often does your baby nurse, and if it's less often than that, when did the feedings start to stretch out?
When my son was your baby's age, he wanted to nurse every 2 hours as well. It was exhausting and incredibly painful. It got to ever 3 hours after a couple weeks when my milk supply got better. He sometimes(but rarely) goes 4 hours without needing to eat.
Was your LO born on Dec 26th? It looks like our LO's might have the same bday. Anyway, my DS has never consistently wanted to eat that often. I kind of wish he did sometimes because we're trying to get him to gain back the weight he lost (he lost a little too much). I pretty much have to wake him for every feeding, and I do it about every 2 1/2 - 3 hours during the day and every 3 1/2 - 4 at night. He's a sleepy little guy. Sometimes, like yesterday afternoon, he'll want to "snack" and he'll eat every 2 hours or so.

Yep, the 26th! Looks like our older LOs are about the same age too!
DD is nursing every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. However, it seems she wants to nurse at 2 hours after her first morning feed. I attribute it to basic low blood sugar we all have in the morning. At night we have to wake her up to nurse so she doesn't go longer than 3 hours. Starting next week, we will allow her to go up to 5 hours one time at night. We will either set an alarm to wake her for 5 hours from the start of her last feeding or if she wakes up and wants to nurse earlier that's fine too. Sorry your DS is wearing you out. How long is he nursing for? DD nurses for an average of 30 minutes at each feeding.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

Caprica is 2 1/2 weeks now with no set schedule. She'll snack for 15 min on the hour for a couple of hours, then sleep for 3 hours and nurse for 15 again. I'm trying to get her to eat longer per the pediatrician so she gains faster but it's tough. Only twice has she nursed both sides and when she did, she didn't finish both and spit up a lot. I find I pump what she doesn't finish just in case she's a starvin marvin when I'm low or sleeping. Pedi recommended supplementing w/bottle after one boob is done but she's usually asleep Good luck to you Mommy!
Re: How often is your newborn nursing?
He nursed every 2 hours for the first 5 days.
He's at about every hour right now. Sometimes he empties one boob and then eats half the other, then nurses again in an hour.
I think he's starting a growth spurt...
