XP: 1st meeting with RE scheduled

I posted on TTGP, but thought you ladies might have more insight for me. I feel very alone on this in real life and don't have many people to talk to about it.

After meeting again with my OB on Monday and getting back DH's SA results (normal), I have been referred to a RE.

I am supposed to have a hysterosalpingogram done. I am not sure if I have a consult on Monday or if they just go right into the dye test? What were your experiences?

Anyway, at this point my OB thinks I may be having complications from my previous emergency c-section and post-op infection. Anyone else hear of this? Or having trouble after a c-section? I've been reading a little about infertility after a c-section and it obviously doesn't make me feel any better.

Hello...I am sorry you have to be on this board...but it looks like you may be able to get some answers with your RE. I would think your appt. would be a consult and you will schedule an HSG. They will probably begin other tests like b/w and an ultrasound if you haven't already had one. I can't help with your c-section question but there is a secondary IF board and maybe there might be someone there who has had a similar experience. Good luck!

I didn't have a C-section with my DS, so unfortunately I don't have any insight for you, but I just wanted to say good luck at your first RE appointment. I hope he or she can offer some answers (and solutions) for you.
