Anyone paying more than they thought

on healthcare?

I keep getting bills and we have a really really good policy (or by good I mean, my work pays A LOT for it... and it is starting to piss me off). Wondering if I am the only one.

    I was in the beginning but now that I've reached my detuctible amount, I was told I don't have to pay anymore co-pays.  Also, thanks to another poster, I called my insurance and found out there's a pre-natal program that pays for so many things, i.e. child birth classes and breast pumps.  If you call your insurance ask about this as I wasn't even told that such a program existed.

    I've paid approximately $25 thus far. And when i paid the $15 copay for my ultrasound, I got a check back.  So this has been pretty expense free up until this point, but I don't know about further down the line. I believe prenatal care is covered 100% and delivery 90%.

    We definitely are, bills coming left and right for ridiculous amounts.  I knew it would be coming though, the good doctors in LA don't really take HMOs, so we end up with quite a chunk of out of pocket paying what our PPO doesn't cover.
