what's your cm suppose to be like?

Good Morning TGIF! 

when your getting ready to start your next cycle? sorry i'm such a newbie but i'd like to keep track of my cm it's hard for me to find my cervix and judging from my hsg it's fairly small anyway.

I'm having discharge now that is clear but sometimes tmi:white snot lol sorry that's what it reminds me of. I'm on CD 27 and my temps haven't dropped yet. but i'm also taking prometrium so it might be delayed...ugh this 2ww turns into 3ww and it just blows!

TTC since November 08 IUI #1-BFN March 1, 2012 Saving Break will try IUI #2 in August 1/2012-S/A wash-count low 3 million 12/30/11 Luminarium(seaweed) stuck in cervix was suppose to "naturally" open it. Surgery for retrival. 12/7/11 Met with Dr. Dougherty new RE-more testing 2/11 Decided to take a year off to save for a new RE 1/11 Cycle day 4 a/s 15mm cyst left Ovary 1 follicle left over no meds this month. 12/10 Cycle Clomid-O'd Progestrone Dostinex =BFN 11/10 HSG-ALL CLEAR & S/A-Adequate 10/10 Cycle- Progestrone and Clomid-O'd=bfn 11/09 lap-removed a lot of scar tissue/endo =not so much cramps during AF ;) 2006 Appendectomy-cyst burst on right ovary =scar tissue 2005 abnormal cells-biopsy and cells removed=scar tissue

    Okay, I'm trying to decipher what you've said here.

    I think you are in the 2ww wait, right? How many DPO? Do you have a chart you can link?

    As far as what kind of CM and when, that varies. Watery and EW (egg white) CM are your most fertile and generally show up around before O. Most women dry up after O. There is also creamy and sticky. You can get any type of CM at any point in your cycle and, again, it is different for everyone.

    If you haven't already, you might need to check out the tutorials on Fertility Friend to help you learn more about what the different types look like. What you are describing sounds like creamy unless it is stretchy, in which case it could be EW.

    OK, that was kind of a hard read. From what I've heard prometrium supps cause quite a bit of discharge. Also, taking prometrium can delay you from getting AF. People can have random discharge during their cycle but mainly it should be around O.
