Did the poster from yesterday follow up? I have been thinking about them...

She said baby just started "shaking" for a few seconds, even after she picked her up. People were telling her to call pedi because it could have been a seizure.

I missed it.  Hopefully she will update.

  • I thought you meant someone shook their baby. I was all Super Angry

But now I know what post you're talking about. I don't think there has been an update. The way she described it didn't sound like a seizure, but I hope either way her baby is okay.

  • Hello! Thanks for thinking about us. We had her appointment today and it was frusterating. They kept asking me if I thought she was in pain or in pain at the time she was shaking and I said no. They then just kept asking me to to use a number scale to figure out her pain level. I kept saying that I didn't belive that she was in pain and her pedi then said if you don't give me a number I can't help you. After me getting mad and saying I can't answer that cause I have no clue. He just looked over her like they do at her well appointments. We did notice that she is getting her first tooth. He said that maybe the shaking was a result of that or that she may have been cold. That was really it and he did not seemed worried at all. I don't know if I am happy with what he said. I know I should have faith in her pedi and that he knows what he is doing, but Im frusterated though cause I live in a small town and this isn't the first pedi we have had. They are not the best here. I think I am just going to keep a close eye on her and if anything happens I will fly back home to WA where my family is and see a dr out there.

I guess that is good news but I can imagine how frustrating that was!! Sorry to hear your pedi didn't really take you that seriously. Yes, I would definitely follow-up with a different one if it keeps happening!
