Oh no! Lost a piece to my pump. Where to buy?

Grr! I lost the little piece that plugs the hose into the breast shield. I looked all over the place for it. I remember taking it off yesterday when I pumped but it's not in my pump bag or where I pumped. I looked on medelas website but they didn't have it listed. Do you know where else I can look. I really need to either buy a new one or find it before I go back to work so I can pump both sides together instead of one at a time. I gave a medela PIS. Oh I hope I can get more.

  • Are you talking about the small piece that goes inside the hose then attached the hose to the shield? If so, you need to buy a new set of hoses. You could also call Medela and explain the situation. My tubing got weird so I called them and they sent me out a new set for free.

  • Does your hospital sell them?  That's where I rented my pump & also where I bought pumping supplies.

  • We don't have anywhere locally that sells parts, so I order mine from selfexpressions.com.

  • in our small town, there is a local chain of drug stores and the one closest to the hospital sells the best selection of pumping parts and accessories. The hospital also sells some, and I think there is one local LC who also keeps a small stockpile of things.

  • I'm not clear on exactly what piece you mean, but BRU and Target each carry a small selection of parts.  Madela's website has everything and they are really helpful - I had to order a new tube and a new top for 1 bottle and they sent me an e-mail and said they were returning the cost of shipping to me since it was since a small order.

Yes! I didn't know it came with the tubes. I just thought it was purchased alone. Thanks. I'll call them :)
  • You can buy Medela parts at our Target and BRU.
