Trouble TTC

Not ovulating after taking Provera- is this normal?

I took Provera to bring on my period since I didn't get it for 2 months.  I got my period for 4 1/2 days only (which I was surprised about and I thought it was going to be a long and rough period, but it was actually easy).  Anyway I've been testing daily for my LH surge and they've all been negative.  Is it normal not to ovulate after taking Provera?  And if so, are the chances high that I will ovulate during my next cycle?

Thanks in advance!! :-)

Provera has nothing to do with ovulation. It forces a hormone shift to bring on your period.

This. I am taking Provera right now. With luck, I'll have a period next weekend, but I won't ovulate unless I take medications like Clomid or Femara.
