Ok... need some help on sleeping/feeding them

So I have been trying to keep them on the same schedule but at night my DD is starting to go longer most of the time between feedings. Should I be waking her up when DS wakes up so they stay on the same schedule at night too? I have been getting up about every 2 hours for the last week becuase she has been going longer. I am starting to go crazy. (I think...lol)

Also any tips on gas? My DS is having horrible gas pains and waking up all the time from it.

TIA

  • Without a doubt- wake the other one when one wakes to feed!!!!!! Or you WILL go crazy!!!! I kept mine on a schedule night and day and it was/is the only thing that keeps me sane. As for gas, you could put mylicon in the bottle, try a different bottle/nipple, or try a different formula. GL!

  • Thanks.....

I guess I am going to try that tonight.... I just feel so bad becuase she is sleeping so good and when I tried it she barely ate. She was also mad that I woke her up and took a while to get back to sleep because she was upset. I am breast feeding so I don't use bottles. I have tried the mylicon but thats not helping at all. Guess I should give out all the information next time. I am just so tired right now its not even funny.

I am also trying to update my tickers but I can't figure out where to go since they changed the layout. Anyone know where to go?

  • I went through the same thing and stopped waking DD when DS woke. It sucked for a lillt more than a week then DS also started sleeping longer my dr told me if you keep waking them all your going to do it teach them to not sleep through the night. For about a week maybe a lil longer there were nights I was up every hour and I was starting to lose my mind then DS also started sleeping longer.
  • Once DD started to show she could go longer at night, I stopped waking her. I didn't want to hold her back, because I could tell she was on the road to STTN. I still got them up at the same time in the morning and fed them, and then they'd be on the same feeding schedule for the day. I would say at the age they are now you'd be fine doing this too.
  • I've been waking my DD, but I think I've taught her to get up to eat now. :(

This twin stuff is so confusing!
