My pharmascist was filling out my Dh's information while I was waiting for his perscription in the lobby. I overhead them pronounce his name and she said "I am assuming it is a female?" I walked over and corrected her and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. The pharmacist then told me he had never filled an Rx of Clomid for a male before...hmmm comforting.
The doctor also called and said it this dosen't work they want to do a chromosomal study...umm I have never seen/heard of this test being necessary or done. Has anyone else?
Re: " I have never filled an Rx for a male...."
That sounds super annoying. Just fill the prescription and hold the commentary about how weird it is, mmm-kay? We haven't tried the Clomid route (yet), but I know that others have.
No advice on the chromosomal study. I would be curious to know more about that and how it might be able to identify the cause of MFI and treat it. Keep us posted if you are told anymore about it.
BTW - I'm moving to Colorado in about a month! Are you in Denver?
