I remember our pedi telling we can do this, but i don't remember how many hours between and which one to give first. I am trying to tell DH we can do this (ds has 3 teeth coming in) but I can't find an article that isn't from a message board that explains it.

I have no links but I do distinctly remember my ped saying four hours between doses. Hope he cuts those teeth soon!

We usually told the moms to alternate every two hours when I worked in the ER. Most websites will tell you 3 hours though since Motrin is a q 6 hour drug. But since Tylenol is every 4 hours, you may get some fever climbing back toward the second half of the Motrin time.

We were told every 4 hours when she had a fever due to an ear infection. Remember, they can only receive 5 doses of Tylenol in a 24 hour time period and motrin every 6 hours.
