Moms of preschool (or potty trained) boys

I have kind of a weird question. Does your boy reach down and touch his groin area while he's running around playing? Not while he's sitting but while he's actually walking/running?

I ask because O has been doing this for a while and we would always ask if he needed to potty and just dismissed it as normal boy stuff. Now he's having some physical problems and we're wondering if maybe this was a symptom.

Not really. Joshua does if he is itchy but not in general.

He does when he needs to go potty. He'll deny needing to go potty, though, and run around like that for awhile. He doesn't have any problems that I know about.

Not really. We see him touch himself from time to time, but it seems to be involuntary.

Sam does it pretty often (at least a few times a day), sometimes immediately after going pee, so I know it's not that. But he doesn't complain of anything else, so I think it's just him grabbing himself without really realizing it.
