My question is for any of you who have had/have midwives for HBAC or VBAC -
Have they suggested BirthPrep, PN-6, 5-W, or EPO, (taken orally) the last six or so weeks of pregnancy? I'm reading "The Naturally Healthy Pregnancy: The Essential Guide to Nutritional and Botanical Medicine for the Childbearing Years" by Shonda Parker, and these are a few suggestions.
Also, I've researched some online, mostly finding it's a matter of opinion among midwives. They're not contraindicated for VBAC, but actually suggested for VBAC'ers. They're mainly used for toning and strengthening the uterus in preparation of childbirth.
For me, this will be a VBA2C. With my last pregnancy, my doctors refused to induce me even at 2 weeks overdue, because my cervix hadn't dilated at all. So, I'm really hoping to go into labor naturally this time around, to avoid a third c/s.
Anyone ever use these herbs?
Re: HBAC/VBAC: BirthPrep, PN-6, 5-W or EPO?
I started taking uterine toner that my sister used, but it was so so yucky that I stopped. You can get it here:

I took EPO for the last 3-4 weeks, but just orally. I wasn't super-sure of my due date to begin with, but DS2 was at least one week (possibly two) late, so in my case, it didn't make him come any earlier. hth
