would it be worth being friends

with people who are both vegetarian and dairy-free?

I vote no.  Well, I certainly wouldn't invite them to the basement for a meal!

Re: would it be worth being friends

  • Maybe, but they would have to bring their own food and not complain as I eat bacon and drink milk for breakfast.

  • :-)  Mmmmm definitely would rather serve bacon than sprouts and fake cheese

BTW, did you get the twirl dresses and are they a hit?

  • I did and she wears them all.the.time. I have to hide them and put them in our hamper because she would wear them over and over. Thanks for the heads up!

i just bought these from gap today. in all 3 colors.

  • you're welcome glad they worked out
  • Only if they do not give me ANY (and by that, even a partial eye roll) grief when I order my beef tacos.

  • Ugh, you're a moron. I have vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free friends (those are all different, though one is free of all), and I even fix them their own meals when they come to our house for dinner or a party (something that goes with ours).

what on earth does a vegan soy free person eat for protein other than nuts?  not judging, just curious.  i also plan so i cao feed my dairy-free, gluten free, nut allergy family and friends.

  • :(  does this mean I'm not invited to your basement for dinner?  Actually, I'm just veg and not vegan or anything.   Oh well, my other omnivore friends like me just fine.

  • Nope. I'm vegetarian and gluten-free and I don't know why anyone is my friend.? FWIW, I bring my own food or eat before I go out and then just get drinks.?
    .
  • Eh, I am far more offended by omnivores who want their steak well done.  Gag me.  I'd rather serve a vegetarian, gluten free, whatever meal.

OMG life would NOT be worth living if those were my only food choices.

I love me some steak smothered in cheese. But there are far more places than animal products to get protein.
