I am crazy and want to get another elective 3D u/s

Just so I can see my girl moving again and see her face. My OB said she won't be doing any more u/s unless there is an issue, which I hope there will not be. But I have an elective u/s place right down the street from me and I got one at 24 weeks. And it came with a coupon for 25% off a "return visit."

    Is 24 weeks when the 3D ultrasound is recommended? I know it can't be too early or too late. I never got one last time but my DH is really hoping for one (or 2 this time.) What is the approximate price range?

    I was told anytime b/t 24-32 wks is good - I got mine right at 24 because I couldn't wait and my baby looked very chubby and great (not too skinny) - they said it is best to get it before you get too far into 3rd tri because at that point the baby has less space/fluid @ them and it's harder to get good pictures of the face/etc. The price range at the place I went to was 99-250 for diff packages. I got the medium package for 189 which included a dvd of the whole u/s (which lasted like 45 min) and then a CD with 75 pictures on it, about 15 print out pics, and a coupon for a free 8 x 10 photo once she's born, and the 25 % off coupon....it was really fun and DH loved it. I say go for it! :).

    My little girl looked so cramped at 29 weeks when we got an u/s with our doctor. She had a foot and her arm in front of her face most of the time, we barely got a picture of her face. Stick out tongue I can hardly wait 6 weeks to see what she's really going to look like.
