4cm dilated, 90% effaced..

I had an NST scheduled for today and an OB appt as usual but woke up this morning with some leaking (ended up getting 4 pairs of underwear "damp") wasn't sure if it was urine, amniotic fluid, discharge, etc.

Went into the NST had the swab done to check for amniotic fluid and came back negative.  OB did an internal and also checked and said that I definitely had an "increase in discharge" and that could be from a number of things.  She did the internal and said the increase was more than likely cause by cervical changes, went from 2cm/75% effaced on Monday to 4cm/90% effaced today.

I haven't been having a ton of contractions or anything, I actually feel BETTER than I have in a few days.

Just wondering if anyone is/was in the same boat and if they continued to progress to active labor or ended up at a standstill?

I realized everyones pregnancy is different, just want to hear others stories!  Either way the babies will be here soon (c-section scheduled for 1/17)

    I was 4cm and 80% effaced at 32 weeks. I was on Procardia until 36 weeks to stop contractions. As soon as I stopped taking it I had tons and tons of contractions, went to L&D the same day I stopped taking it but my labor never progressed. I continued having constant contractions that never progressed until 38 weeks when my water broke. 

    It was so frustrating, but in the end completely worth it. My babies were able to come right home and had no issues.

    I was 4cm and 90% for about a week.

    At 35 weeks i was 4cm and 90% effaced. I made it to my csection date 37 weeks 4 days. I was super active too thought for sure i would have had them earlier.
