Thank you for your support and prayers...and an update

Thank you ladies...your support has been so very helpful.

I think today was harder than yesterday. Yesterdays news was all a blur and today was reality. I met with the pastor of our church today and let it all out. I let out all the emotions and fears and frustrations. I felt a bit better after that.

I called Drs office this morning to set up appt for amnio. The nurse said it would be a week till we could get in. I got a call back from my favorite nurse later this afternoon and she said she personally talked to my Dr and he is coming in on his day off to come and do an amnio. for us TOMORROW. There is risk with the amnio as he has said...even more so with the contractions and shortening cervix that is going on also. But we feel it is best for us to know what is going on with Mason.

Thank you ladies for your sweet and kind words. They were very helpful in this difficult time for us. We have a long journey ahead...but we are taking each precious day 1 at a time.

As of last night..Our sweet Mason has been kicking (hard) like crazy. We think he is telling us ....Im here Mommy.

We had something extremely similar happen with our daughter. I wish our situation turned out better, but it did not. However, if you need ANYTHING, please PM me. I've been there and unfortunately understand. I sincerely hope your outcome is much better than ours was. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

I just want you to know that I am praying for you, baby Mason, and your family. My fiance's cousin went through something very similar this summer. Her DS had a large mass on the back of his neck and fluid (alot) on his brain. They told her she could abort if she felt necessary because they didn't feel the baby would make it to birth. She couldn't do that and went through the rest of her pregnancy. She gave birth to a completely healthy baby boy on December 30th. Miracles happen everyday and your Mason will be a miracle. Please keep us updated. And good look tomorrow at your amnio. I'm praying for amazing results.
